New home, moved in Sept 2010 (Good man AC unit. AC unit was blowing warm air in May 2011, company who installed responds and fixes, air is cool again. October 2013, unit blowingb warm air again. New company tech thaws frozen unit, adds pound of freon. Next day tech says there is a leak at the service valve and suction side. Too expensive to fix. Mar 2014, new tech finds larger copper pipe bent and kinked like a garden hose. What problems could this cause?

The kinked vapor line can &, sooner or later, will destroy the compressor.
Why was the leak at the service valve too expensive to repair? If it was a schrader, replacement takes less than 5 minutes with no loss of refrigerant.

I would have had to have purchased a maintenance plan in order receive a reasonable repair fee, without that I was told the jog would be approximately 800 dollars. Would the crimp in the pipe ever cause a leak in the shrader valve or compressor?

For that kind of money, you could replace the entire outdoor unit.

The kink isn't likely to cause a leak but the restricted refrigerant flow will cause the compressor to burn out.
