My son died when my grandson was 7 months old. I have taken my grandson and his mother and 2 other children by another man that I have raised as my grandsons. I would like to get custody of these 3 boys as the mother is high all of the time and does not do anything for them. Are all of these people living in your home? Have you contacted DHS?

You can evict the mother and the children by giving notice to the mother to leave.

For custody of the children, get CPS involved to prove she is unfit and take her to court for custody.

Before you evict the mother, you need to secure custody of the children. I would work with your local Family Services agency to get the mother declared unfit and award you guardianship or custody. Once you are the legal guardian, you can then move to put the mother in rehab or just evict her.
