Hello all, I've been asking around a few help forums to see if I can get the best help possible.


1st Salon disaster: This Wednesday I had peek a boos put in to cover/cancel out the turquoise ones I had put in March 2013. The hairdresser said that the bleach would cancel out the badly fading turquoise and green colours. She parted my hair off to the side and proceeded with the bleaching. Unfortunately she didn't do what I asked, or what she said she would do. Not only did she make the leftover blue and green strands turn to a baby/light colour, but there was barely any blonde peek a boos. She also badly bleached my bangs to an awful yellow and slightly blue colour.
I couldn't see what she did completely because of the lighting in the room. I went home and saw the damage and I freaked.
I went back the next day to see if she would fix the problem. She said in no uncertain terms that it was my fault that I didn't pay more to take out the blue/green. And I can have lowlights put in to 'cover' the blonde in my bangs. Not only was the colour bad, but the 'peek a boos' were badly placed. Like highlight stairs in my hair, if that makes sense. I can't really call it peek a boos.
She also rudely insinuated that I was drinking. I can't and don't.

Mistake #2: I went to see another hairdresser. She said it was done wrong and she could fix it. This hairdresser said she can cover the highlights by trying to match to my natural hair colour. She only dyed the top half of my hair, near my crown. The bottom half (closer to my neck), which is covered, still has my natural hair colour. She matched it to a Brown 6.
I started noticing it was getting very dark when it was setting. She said my hair is a natural medium brown and this should match up. She also said that this colour will eventually fade within a few weeks to match more closely to my normal brown, because she used the K-35 developer which shouldn't allow roots to show and to 'naturally fade.'
Unfortunately I thought this was a demi-perm colour. I phoned today and she said it's permanent.
Not only does the colour not even match, it's a dark brown, almost black in some places. I have golden medium brown with auburn. This mistake makes my hair two-toned.

I'm beyond angry. I went black once and it took two years for me to just get it back to normal. Do I have to do this again?

Questions:

1. Does it make sense for a hairdresser to tell me that a permanent hair colour will fade within a few weeks on its own to match my hair colour? Is it because she used the k-35 developer? Will that even happen?

2. If that is not the case, I asked if I can fade by using home techniques? She said I shouldn't try to prematurely fade it since my covered highlights will show up again. If THAT'S the case, then how is this hair dye 'permanent' and not demi-permanent?


3.How can I just lift the dark brown colour off the colouredsection of my hair, so that it can match my natural colour?

Are there techniques that I can use? Which are the best?

The baking soda, with Head and Shoulders or even Prell? How long to stay in hair?
Use hot oil treatments with olive oil? How long to leave in the treatment?
Continue to use clarifying shampoo to strip my hair? How many times a day?
Would a Soap Cap help lift the dark brown colour so that it can somewhat match my medium brown? Would it go down a shade or two?
How many times do I use these techniques a day, for how long?



Am I just freaking out over something not 'that awful'?

As you can see in the photos, I've gone from a very bad blonde/yellow/blue/green/orange dye to a bad dark colour in the last 2 days.

What can I do?
