Hi I'm hoping someone can help... basically I was on microgynol for 7+ years I changed my docs and they said I should have never been put on that due to family health issues (high blood pressure and dvt) so she put me on cerazette but after trying this for 3 months it just wasn't for me I was feeling constantly tired and couldn't be bothered to do anything. They then put me on micronor I was on this for about 9 weeks but I was bleeding at least one day a week (sorry tmi) so me and my partner decided I should come off this and we will use alternative protection. I took my last pill on 20th feb and was due my period 23rd feb... I am still waiting for this period. I have taken 2 test both negative. I don't 'feel' pregnant but I have been extremely tired and have the most terrible mood swings! I am going to see my doc this week but wanted to see if anyone else has been in a similar position. How long did it take for your period to come back? Were you pregnant?

One other thing I have noticed a lot of people on other discussion boards saying when they stopped the pill they had a breakthrough bleed but then nothing well I've not had this.

Sometimes when you're pregnant you don't test positive for a bit. I am not sure why but the tests just don't work. Make sure you discuss this with your doctor. I would almost recommend going off and "Detoxing" (I hate that word, but it works) your reproductive system and then find something that works. Cycling through as many different hormonal birthcontrol could wreck havoc on your system. Talk this over with your doctor. What he says and advises should trump ALL other information.
