The reason why I came to this conclusion was because my mum seems to talk so optimistically about my twin, because she's obviously the 'golden child. Whenever she speaks of my twin, she mentions how calm and patient she is, how she never gets angry and isn't an utter to me every other day. However, when she speaks about me to family and friends, she always pokes fun at me and criticises me because I spend a lot of time doing homework in my bedroom, rather than acknowledge all my achievements as well as my twin sister's, because she seems to have it in her head that I sit around for hours being lazy though I spend those hours on coursework. Also, throughout our childhood, whenever me and my twin got into to arguments or have a little bicker, it would somehow end up being my fault, even if she hasn't heard my side of the story. What should I do because it's starting to take over my life by making me cry in my room by myself all the time?

How old are you both, and how do you get along between you? Is your dad in your lives, and if so, how does he treat you both?
