1. f(x)=x^1/3+1

2.f(x)=(x-1)^2(x+2)

For both i need to: (show work)

-find first derivative
-find second derivative

f(x)=(x-1)^{2}(x+2)

You don't need the product rule or chain rule here. Just expand out and differentiate.

f(x)=(x-1)^{2}(x+2)=x^{3}-3x+2

Now, it's easy.
