I need old statements from South Trust Bank from 2001, does anybody know how I can do this? The now South Trust Bank after being sold to Wacovia is Wells Fargo. I went to Wells Fargo and they said after looking for two weeks there were no records.

After 13 years... its highly unlikely they still have them.

FDIC laws say they only need to keep them for 5 years.

Why do you need such old statements?
