I purchased a cross necklace at an estate auction. On the back & center of the cross is shows: 925 & below it is RJ. The chain is very delicate with the 925 on it. Can you tell me what this might be. The stones on the front are clear, 5 marquis cut with 12 small round stones, 3 on each point.

Sorry, unless the necklace indicates gold karat, isn't gold, or even gold plated. As for the gems, you will have to have them evaluated at a jeweller you know and trust to give you an estimation. What did you pay for it?

How would you think we could help you with this minimal descriptiion. One would have to have a crystal ball. You must understand that what you describe is only a piece of junk, until it is authenticated as far as the gems are concerned, and what they may be.

You might try checking out Indian Native American pictograph hallmarks (http://www.art-amerindien.com/signature_picto-hallmarks.htm) which lists loads hallmarks with photos of hallmark.
