My Daughter just recently upgraded her Rogers Cable box with the NextBox for the TV... I'm not all that clear on just how this NextBox component works, but I understand it uses GB's?. What has my Daughter Baffled since she has a plan for 100gb's per month, lately she has been going over that to averaging 180gb's a month used...

My Grandson plays a lot of XBox online and the Grandaughter browses a fair amount of YouTube... Previous to adding the NextBox they were averaging between 70 / 80gb's used per month. What other Goodies could be gobbling up the GB's and could the real culprit be in the NextBox itself? Your Thoughts Appreciated... Cheers. Thanks...

Gb's is a measure of volume of data. 100 gb a month really isn't much. Stream a lot of video online and you can eat through that pretty easy.

Thankfully my internet connection isn't metered. I go through that much every couple days.

On its own it shouldn't add anything... its what is done with it that can easily increase those numbers.
