Hi I was wondering about eptopic pregnancy. My last menstrual period was February 2nd to about the 7th. I had sex on the 16 very early morning hours around 2 am. The condom broke. I took next choice about 34 hours later. 6 days later I began what I think is withdrawal bleeding which lasted about 3 days. My period was due on the 8th. I usually have about 32-34 day cycles. I hurt started bleeding today, the 10th, but it seem a little unusual. Like a darkish brown, sometimes red. My lower abdomen also feels a little strained when I stretch. I'm just wondering if this would be a time where I could start to feel eptopic pregnancy symptoms is I f had one? I'm very scared

Why sit there and guess (which is all anyone can do online as well)... when you can see your OB/GYN and find out for sure?

First it would help if you knew how to spell it. Its ectopic.

But smoothy asks a valid question, if you are concerned see a doctor.

Ectopic (notice the spelling) pregnancy, is not that common. It does happen, but I have to ask why you automatically assume that if you're pregnant, it's ectopic?

Only a doctor can diagnose an ectopic pregnancy. It requires equipment and tests that we simply cannot access online. We can't access your body, therefore we can't tell you if you're pregnant, and we definitely can't tell you if your pregnancy is ectopic.

You'll have to see a real doctor. You really really won't find answers online. Those that claim they have answers, are scammers. There's no way they could give you the answer to the question you're asking. Put it this way. What color is my hair? Can you give me an answer? Have I ever given birth? Do I have any tattoos? Have I ever miscarried? How tall am I? How much do I weigh? Can't answer? Why not? It's because you can't access the one thing that would give you the answer. My body!

It's possible that it is just the start of your period. See what happens over the next several days. Taking Next Choice can alter your period as well, so it could be a result from that.

First things first... you don't know yet if you are even pregnant. Odds are in your favor that you are not.

If you don't have a normal period in the next several days, you could try a pregnancy test or see your doctor. Early signs of both a normal pregnancy and an ectopic pregnancy are often the same, so as the others have said, there would be no reason to suspect an ectopic, or even a normal pregnancy, at this point. See what happens over the next week or so.
