My husband bailed out of jail two times. Second time should have been a probation violation. If it's a violation, how did they let him bail out?

Depends on what the judge decides. Sometimes they do, sometimes they don't. THey look at the severity of the crime and the chances he will run.

1. Depends on the location. Some states ( if state court) do not allow bail by state law for probation violation. Others allow
2. in areas where they alllow, it can depend on level of probation
3. also, was he arrested for the violation or was he arrested for other reason. If PO office did not catch the arrest and he bailed out before, they can still come and lock him up.
So, what are the real facts, you sound a little unsure of facts.
What was the arrest for, what type of violation?
