I am bullied a lot at school and I cannot take it anymore. I have asked my mother about it repeatedly but all she says is "You can't run away from your problems". But I'm not trying to run away from my problems... I am trying to get rid of them. I just want to start a new life. I have this friend who only a handful of people liked... But when she went to another school she had so many friends... And even a boyfriend! Not that a boyfriend is one of my intentions to transfer, and being bullied isn't the only reason. The school I want to transfer to has more sports to choose from, and more extra curricular activities, and a better band and has higher academic achievements than my school. I not only want to get away from the bullies (because I can't... They will be everywhere in my life) I also want to be more athletic and smarter. I want to be more involved and less insecure about myself. It's like I can't do sports because of my insecurities.

Your mom is right, changing schools will not make you more secure, it will teach you, that running from your problems is an answer
Dealing with bullies, how your mother went to talk to school officials about the bully issue. Has the bullies been reported and their behavior.
A bully only has power over you, if you allow them to.
Having friends, has nothing to do with if there are bullies at a school, every school has bullies, and they find the weak easy to pick on people.
You are bullies because you allow it to happen. Sorry, but a transfer, will just change who is the bully.

I agree with your mother... and with Fr_Chuck. You are trying to run away from your problems... instead of deal with them. Problems you do not deal with in life tend to follow you around until you do.
Also you might not have the opportunity to simply "transfer" schools. If you attend a public school you attend the school in the district you live in and pay taxes to. To attend a private school is usually a very expensive option IF you could get in... and we don't know if your mother even could afford it. (many can't). But you would deal with the same types people there as well... and in fact it might be worse.
