Hello, I had a plumber install a rubber shower pan, but the wall corners are rounded and not flush to the wall. A sheet rocker told me that will need to be corrected in order for the cement board to be flush and straight.

How can this be done?

Is this a problem that I need to fix? Or does it get corrected during tile work?

Thx for your help

Can you post a picture or give us a brand/model of the pan?

Yeah, we need to know if this is a vinyl (PVC) shower pan or a tarred rubber pan to be sure, but in both cases, if you can't get the cement board to sit against the wall properly you have a problem, for sure!

Out of curiosity, did the plumber fill the pan and test it overnight for leaks?

Back to you...
