There are several types of birth control besides condoms. I suggest that you and your wife talk to her doctor about which method is best for her. Also, hormonal contraceptives (oral, patch, injection, etc.) and some barrier methods take a doctor's examination and/or prescription.
I do not suggest trying to go without any protection of any type or what is commonly referred to as the 'pull-out' method. However, tracking ovulation and knowing when her most fertile days are can help in planning sex for when pregnancy would be less likely to occur regardless of which method you use.
Is there a reason you do not want to use condoms?
Please keep in mind that all forms of birth control including condoms are not 100% effective. Using at least two types correctly will increase the effectiveness, but any time there is intercourse there is a chance of pregnancy.

This is a question for your own medical practitioner.

As I mentioned before, you and your wife need to discuss birth control options with her doctor. Birth control pills need a prescription. They are not something you get and just start taking. You cannot pick them up and give them to your wife.
Time to talk to her doctor.

No form of birth control is 100% effective. You and your wife need to consult with your physician about what would be the best method for you.
