Project coming along nicely thanks to this board (plumbing and elec.). The builder came by to check on my progress and had genuine compliments!
Now to my question:
I know about the 2'/4' rule for counter receptacles, but at what height are they normally run off the subfloor? Also, the height and type of connection (direct wire or rec.) for a micro/hood.
Last but not least, what is the common way to rough in the connection for a double wall oven and separate in the counter cooktop? Are they direct wire? I was thinking about a rec. box or a metal box for direct connect, romex in and MC coming out through the sheetrock to the unit. Oh and we can't forget the rough in heights above the subfloor!
Thanks all and esp. you TK for your past help!
Mike
