View Full Version : Will I pass ETG in 36 hours?

I had 3 crown and cokes from 10:30PM - 12AM, I was called today to test within the next 24 hours. So the time I will take the test will be exactly 36 hours. I am 5'7 and have a pretty fast metabolism. I also threw up at 1Am because I am not a fan of alcohol and was just in a social environment. It was obviously stupid and the wrong thing to do. What are my chances? I read water, sauna, doesn't really work. If it is based on metabolism is eating and pooping making it better to flush the metabolites out? Would throwing up have taken some of the alcohol consumption to be lower?

Thanks

WHat do you strand to lose if you fail... and why are you worried about an ETG test?

If it's a job related test... you could drink the day before and pass... but the standards are way tighter if you are on court ordered tests.

Low. Very low. Considering the consquences that will face, I hope you gain some more appreciation for probation and what you need to do for it.

So there is no way ill pass? It was a dumb choice obviously nothing I can do to justify that. Would throwing up have lessened the load of the alcohol being consumed? I threw up about an hour after drinking.

Since the EtG has a poor accuracy rate you can always hope but in all likelihood you will fail, 80 hour test range

Does anyone know if throwing up would limit the amount of alcohol I really digested? It was all liquid and a good amount I let out.

Only if you threw up while you were drinking or immediately after comsumption

It was about an hour after the last drink

Likely will have no effect on the test sample, your body already digested the alcohol.

I passed the ETG test, I don't recommend obviously dealing with the stress. Best to just not have drank to begin with.

More details just so the people who want an actual answer from someone who had to go through it.

On Monday night I ate a huge steak dinner from 7-8PM. I had my first crown and coke at 10:15PM, my second crown and coke at 11PM, and my last one at 11:30PM. I then threw up at like 12:30PM. I got the call at 11AM to come in to test in the next 24 hours. I tested on Wednesday at 11:30AM. It had been about 34-36 hours since the time I stopped drinking.
