I finished my last period about two weeks ago, the day after me and my husband had intercourse, a few days later it looked like I had my period again, but was a darker red colour than before. I took a test and it was negative. Since then I have been experiencing strange goings on in my body. I have had a slight cramping in my abdomen. I seem to be digesting slower than usual, I seem to be drinking a lot of water, and having uncomfortable nights in bed. I took another test and still read negative, now I am feeling a warm sensation in my abdomen and there seems to be some pressure on my bladder. I am not due to start my next period till sometime in the middle of march. So what is happening to my body?

Thanks
Liz

You can't possible be feeling ANY pressure on your bladder from a pregnancy for months to come... even if you are. Nor are those "sysmptoms" of a pregnancy.

Here is a chart that proves you pass larger chunks of food through your intestines without any ill effects...

Baby Size Chart - Fetus Size Chart (http://pregnant.thebump.com/pregnancy/pregnancy-tools/articles/how-big-is-baby.aspx)

They are either something completely unrelated... or they are psycosymatic.

Also an FYI....its a waste of time and money testing for a pregnancy until you are at least two full weeks LATE for a period.

This would not be pregnancy signs, ( although of course you could be pregnant, since you are having sex.

? Do not married couples have sex every two or three days, I am sorry it makes it sound like you have not had sex in all those weeks or often before.

It takes a few days for sperm to reach the egg so at this point, as noted in the last post, there is nothing to cause pressure. Some hormone changes may be noticed but normally there is no signs of that either in first couple weeks.

Of course a pregnancy test is not going to show anything, it is way, way too early, you need to MISS a period and be two week late, just to start properly testing.

So it sounds like perhaps an infection of some sort or other issue.
