I am currently 23 weeks pregnant and have always had a lot of discharge. Just recently it turned a green color but there is no smell, burning or itching along with it. Is this dangerous for my baby? Or what could it be

Discharge, as you can likely guess, is excretion from your uterus and vaginal canal. Since you're pregrenant your cervix has been plugged and closed up tighter then Scrooge's wallet. So most the discharge is going to be from your vaginal canal. It is usually clear or white and runny like an egg white. When it starts turning colours than something is wrong. Usually it is a sign of a yeast or bacterial infection. Most of these have some sort of pain, burning, itchy, et al, associated with them but not always. I would talk to your OB on your next appointment about this.

As I said before your cervix is plugged up with a mucus plug and it is incredibly hard for anything to get past it so your child should be fine.

Green discharge during pregnancy will only occur in your vaginal canal, this being said, it is an alarm though. It could be an STD, some kind of infection which should be taken care before giving birth. That baby of yours has to enter this world through a clean tunnel, so see your doctor so he/she can swab and determine, okay.

Have you had any sort of rough sex with foreplay and dirty fingernails. Sorry, I don't know you so don't be offended. Any bacteria entering there will upset the Ph and turn into something unpleasant. Or sex without lubrication and lesions occurred?
