I recently purchased a 2004 mobile home It has been sitting unoccupied for the last four years. The heat blows but moderately; when extreme cold conditions it does not adequately heat the home, even with thermostat setting on maximum. I have examined the unit, the filters were in good condition. I also reset the breakers on the unit and the breakers in the main fuse box, with no change. What are my options? Is there another fuse location that I am not aware of?

I would check to see if you have a flame first. I highly suggest a handyman or professional inspect this unit since its had little or no use for so long.

Most MH heaters are downdraft, blowing the air into the underneath. In 4 years you could have had all kinds of creatures chew into the ductwork. I just worked on a house vacant for 9 months and there were 2 rat nests in the ductwork where they had chewed through the insulation and had a nice home in there. Take a good look underneath. Make sure the undercarriage is well sealed too, sounds like you are losing more BTU's than can be replaced by the heater.
