We live in South Carolina. I want to know if my son's father has to continue paying child support till high school graduation, He will be 18 in October ? And does he have to pay till my son graduated from community college ?

This is usually controlled by the support order. It should specify. If it doesn't specify generally its until 18 or when he finishes high school.

Thanks Scott :-) I will check my papers to see, but i think it says that he has to pay to the age of 18. My son will be 18 in October, and will graduate 8 months later.

If it is that specific then yes it may stop after October. You would need to go back to the court that issued the order for clarification.

Sometimes, they were written when children so young, no one considers all of the future. You can go back and ask for it to be modified, if you want
