I am 44 years old and the last day of my last period was Dec 27th I was due again on Jan 24th. Today is Feb 6th so I am 14 days late. I am nauseous every morning, my breast are sore and I have light spotting which started today. I took a pregnancy test on January 25th it was negative. I waited a week and did it again on Feb 2nd again I got a negative result. I took another one today and AGAIN negative. I don't have any health insurance or I would go to the doctor. Help!

Go to a community health clinic. Active sexually? Protection?

I called the health clinic it'll cost over $200. I am sexually active with my husband of 25 years. Yes we use protection but its not 100% affective that's how I got pregnant with my first child

OK, first it is just 14 days late, that is when you are FIRST suppose to start testing, so any test before today was just too early.

Are you testing first thing in the morning, as soon as you wake up ?
If not that is when you should test.

Also it is possible just to miss a period, and your "signs" could be a flu or other illness just happening now, and that illness has delayed the period.

Going on, as the body changes and as women grow older, missing a period now and then is going to happen. 44 is where many women will start to have changes in their monthly cycle. So that is of course possible.

I would test again, in the morning, with the first urine, and if NEG. Test again, once a week, until you are about 10 days late for second period.

At that point go and see the doctor,
