We can't start the dishwasher. If we hit Start we get the usual 'Press Start to Repeat Last Cycle' message, but when we hit Start again a couple of lights flash and we get an annoying set of beeps. Is there a button combination to reset the controls or run diagnostics? I've seen other button combinations on the forum, but they don't match the buttons that appear on our model.

You have an open safety somewhere, like a stuck high water cut-out. You will have to find the safety and fix the problem first. Here are some things that may help: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/8010163/Kenmore_Ultrawash_Dishwasher.pdf

I'm afraid those links are of no help because they do not relate to my model. I do not have a "Heated Dry" button. My buttons are Smart Wash, Pots&Pans, Normal Wash, ECO, China Gentle, 1HourWash, Turbo Zone, High Temp, SaniRinse, Smart Dry, and 4HrDelay.
Do you know a button combination for these that will allow diagnositics?

You will have to check it out with a meter and a wiring diagram, if you can find one. You should have one in an envelope inside the dishwasher, usually behind the kickplate at bottom. If you have a component failure resetting it will have no result. However, if you find that manual in the dishwasher you may find instructions.
