I need to know if a thermostatic bar mixer shower will work on a low pressure gravity system? i.e.. Tank in loft feeding hot water cylinder.
I am in the north west of the UK.

Hi Baz
It should work fine, but to be 100% sure it will work the way you imagine it will work, I would advise you to determine which thermostatic bar mixer you want and then call the manufacturer's technical department and ask them for specifics. There are just too many variables to get into here to be really helpful.
When you talk to the tech. support people, at a minimum, you'll need tank capacity, pipe size, distance, number of shower heads. You'll want to include number of shower heads and how long your maximum shower will be. More helpful info. includes number of people in the home, number of other showers/tubs, etc...
Start there. Good luck!

There are many elements to a shower, from the shape and size of the enclosure to the material with which it's made. You need to take all your options into consideration.
In a thermostatic mixer, the controlled temperature makes them extremely convenient.
