Hi, my last period was in November and it's been normal every month before hand and yes I am sexually active and have had unprotected sex( I got two negative pregnancy test ). My concern is my period is late and it has been 3 months and for a couple of weeks in Jan. I had spotting and a lot of different discharge and now for the last two days I been bleeding heavily bright red with blood clots A lot (I have dirty everything sheets, towels, clothes it so much heavy). Scary also one of the night I was in pain and my legs where shaking and I felt extremely nausea but didn't vomit. Yesterday I was having severe tension headaches on the left side of my forehead. Every time I stand up there are clots and blood that follows, I feel it. I just feel scared and confused like I'm in a blood festival! What's going on with me is this normal?

Sounds like time to visit the GYN. Irregular periods happen but this sounds like a bit more than even an irregular period. Speculation on causes would be just guesses. See what the Doctor says.

See a doctor as this sounds serious and beyond normal.

You don't see any RED flags! Sounds like you are having a miscarriage unless you are over-reacting in your post. Of you are having that much bloody discharge and headaches, call an ambulance.

I'm shocked that you haven't seen a doctor about this. The rule of thumb is, if you fill a pad in an hour, consistently, it's time to see a doctor.
Two negative pregnancy tests don't mean you're not pregnant. Many women have negatives results until well into their second trimester. Some women never get a positive result, especially with a home test, throughout their entire pregnancy.
This really does sound like a miscarriage (which is just a guess, and all we can do online), in which case, if you're bleeding as much as you say you are, you could be hemorrhaging. You need to see a doctor asap!

Not to be nosy but what was the cause of your issues?
Glad it worked out okay.

Np I'm still in a bloody horror film but I am okay lucky it was not a miscarriage which they thought It was turns out it just a horrible period for not having it in so long. I just have to follow up with my obgyn and undergo a little more test to see why this is happening.

I'm no doctor, and most doctors probably won't mention this, but considering your blood loss, make sure you up the iron you're taking in. Anemia happens with massive blood loss. Eat iron rich foods, spinach is a good one, tuna, red meat, you can Google iron rich foods. Make sure you're replenishing what you're losing.
Glad to hear everything is okay and that you followed our advice. Please keep us posted on how you're doing. :)

Do not let doctors brush this off. Pregnancy is only one cause of irregular periods and heavy bleeding. Specifically ask about endometriosis and poly cystic ovaries. If the bleeding continues ask if a d&c wouid be appropriate and also have your bloodwork done to check for anemia. Do not blow off the follow up. Go to a good gynecologist and insist they figure out the cause.
