Hello:
I just purchased a new shallow well pump to replace my old pump, which I will keep as a backup. I had trouble establishing prime, so recharged the suction line. The pump is now able to pump up to as much as about 30 psi, but no more than that, and it is not stable. I suspect air infiltration, as despite trying for a couple of hours, I can't seem to eliminate all of the air coming from the taps. As well, I have a hose connected right at the pump outlet, which spits air whenever I run it. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
