I have a postage stamp purchased at the Vatican in 2009. On the bottom it say's Citta del Vaticano. In a circle it say's trattati di roma 1957-2007 I was wondering if this is worth anything.

Was it used for postage ( mailed on letter) or merely one of the 1000's sold as collector items ?
