I bought a new fan motor for my fasco b2451 wall heater. It is identical to the old motor except for the wiring. The old motor had 2 black wires. One attached to the "off-fan-heater" switch and the other went on the other side of the heater near the heating coils. The new motor has 3 wires. One red, one black and one white. They are attached together at the end with a plastic insert. How do I wire the new motor to the old heater? Can I splice and attach the wires? Where do they go on the old heater?

Post the motor model number and any specs. This may be a dual voltage motor. The red wire may be for 240V wiring and the Black and white are your hot and neutral respectively. Hot goes to the switch, and the neutral goes to where you had the other black leg on the old motor go.
