Hello,

I am aware that consuming vanilla extract in drinks such as coffee can cause a false EtG reading. I was wondering if baked goods such as deserts and cookies containing vanilla extract also run this same risk.

No, when vanilla is cooked into anything it alters, it takes away the alcoholic properties.

If you are required to avoid alohol... its easy enough to avoid anything with any alcohol in them as there are alcohol free formulations of almost everything.

And if you are tested... its doesn't matter what the source is... you are required to avoid ALL possible sources. A fail is a legitimate fail for that reason.
