Hello, I removed the radiator to clean it, paint it do some decorating in the room. I have put it back long time ago but today I decided to on it. I secured the fixings well but there is a leak on both ends. (not at the valve but at the connection between the radiator and the valve). It is not the first radiator that I am fixing back and I never had problem before. A plumber I called once to repair a leak in the bathroom used a paste before he screw the fixing (this paste felt like containing some kind of sand, in touch and he told me that it doesn't dry). I was wondering if I could use the same paste to the radiator connectors. If yes what is the name of it and where can I buy it from? Please help me as I need to use the room as soon as possible. Thank you

It's a pipe sealant. I use rectorseal 5, available at all home improvement stores. You could also use any Teflon based thread sealant..,like you said, these don't dry out! Hopefully, that resolves issue!
