I have a memory of watching a TV film or maybe mini series in mid 90's about an italian family all I can remember is that there was a love triangle with one women falling pregnant then leaving going back home and the father never knew he had a child till later on there was a sense that money is all that matters it then goes forward in the film to see how the daughter grows up but then I think the last scene in it she dies after diving from her yacht hitting the anchor it had a known italian actor at the time was abit famous.
