Good day, my name is Desiree. On the 19th of December 2013 me and my boyfriend had unprotected sex. After that we both suspected that I might be falling pregnant. I told him that we should wait for my periods first before we can confirm that I am indeed pregnant. I normally get my periods on the 09th of every month but now it's January 2014. On the 9th and the 10th I did not get my periods. I told myself that I will get myself tested for pregnancy on Saturday 11.01.2014 but in the morning when I woke up I was on my periods and it was a heavy flow and there were minor blood clots.

Now my question is, was it possible that I might have been pregnant and miscarried somehow because this is the second time this happened?

Anytime you have sex you can become pregnant. And no you will really not have any signs prior to missing your period. So you "felt" like you were pregnant because of worry about it or desire for it.

Also you needed to wait till you missed your period and was two week late to test, so it would have been too early to test.

Slight clotting can be many things, so there is really no way to tell if this was or not.
