Last day of the last period was December 16 2013. Was suppose to start Jan 9 or 10 2014 and I have been spotting for three days no actual period. Took pregnancy test it was negative. Why is this so

You tested too early. It's best to wait until your period is at least 2 weeks late, then test using first morning urine.

If that test is negative, wait for your next period. If you miss it too, take another test or get a blood test done.

Of course another possibility for the negative result could be that you're not pregnant.

It's a waiting game.
