I have a terrible yeast infection and i am due to deliver my baby tomorrow. If he doesn't come can i get a prescription from an emergency room for a diflucan tablet?

You can safely treat a year infection with over the counter antifungal creams or suppositories.

Miconazole (Monistat)
Clotrimazole (Gyne-Lotrimin)

The 2 above are well known to work best. You may also want to consider buying Summer's Eve cleansing wash. It is safe to use during pregnancy. But of course we all know to refrain from douching because you are pregnant. Some OB-gyns frown upon a woman ever douching even if not pregnant... But the cleansing wash can also be used after you've delivered your little bundle of joy. Summer's Eve cleansing wash helps balance out the good bacteria and rid of bad bacteria which caused the yeast infection. There is also Summer's Eve cleansing wash for the sensitive. Summer's Eve wash for Sensitive skin may definitely be the best since you are pregnant.

Call your doctor. He/She will call in a tablet or two for you.
