I have a kohler wall mount faucet the valves will not shut off, they both flow freely and the handles both turn fine. Any advice

What precipitated this...frozen pipes? If so, then the freeze up has deposited some sediment to the valve or damaged the stem assemblies. Here, shut water off to the valve (see shut off valves beneath sink) and then remove handles and stem assemblies. While you have the stems out, cover the faucet with a towel (have someone hold over faucet) and pulse the hot and cold water on for a second each to clear the valve. Inspect the stems for damage at this time...if damaged, get replacements. If the stems are not damaged, reinstall and check to see if the issue is resolved.

Let me know what happens, OK?
