This book was about a man named Jared (I think the spelling is correct). He was a farmer who just got divorced and lost almost everything. Along comes Lucy (I think this is her name) and he is determmined not to fall in love with her. He challenges her at every turn because he doesn't want to become a victim of another woman's possible scorn. Eventually she hooks him. Please help. I assumed this was the work of Sharon Sala but I can't find it.
