Hiy name is Denise I was recently on birth control pills back in November 2013. I stop take them after the pack was done. I have a period from the end of November to beginning of December. It is now January 2014 amd I haven't had a cycle yet. I took an ept pregnancy test it back back positive with a faint line. I waited maybe a week at the longest and got a first response pregnancy test came back negative. I went to health department amd they did a urinary test came back negative. I still haven't had and it's been almost a little over a month. What could be wrong?

Depending on the birthcontrol pill you took your body could be readjusting to self-regulating your period again. You might have irregular periods for a little while. I am assuming that you're having unprotected sex as well? I would wait a week or two longer and see if you get your period. If you don't take another home pregnancy test.

Also make sure to follow the directions. If left for a while a faint line will appear because you're washing the control line over the test line.
