I'm a gymnast and I was doing some skills at home, and I think I might have pulled something in my lower back.. I usually do backbends at home, and I started getting this stingy feeling when I bend backwards.. it's in my lower left back.. it doesn't hurt a lot, but it kind of stings, I don't know if I pulled something but how do I get rid of it? Should I just rest and stop training for a while.. What is causing my back pain an how do I stop it?

There is no way online anyone can decide why your back hurts, Back injury could be from many things, even other illness. Without an actual exam, it is not possible to say.

Did you properly warm up before exercise, did you move or twist different, so many factors.

Let me look at your x-ray... wait, I don't have one. Where's your x-ray? Wait, I'm not a doctor, so even if I had an x-ray, it wouldn't matter.

See where I'm going with this?

Did you really think someone would be able to give you a diagnosis online? Even if there were a doctor on this site, which there isn't, he/she wouldn't risk their medical license to diagnose someone online. That could mean the end of their career.

You can try heat, or ice, muscle relaxant, pain meds, but that's something you have to decide. If this pain persists, I'd see a doctor.
