Two weeks ago I had a terrible head cold.
Now it seems I have similar but not exactly the same symptoms.
I am tired, coughing, and my head is slightly congested.
Gayquil, NyQuil, Zycam, what else and how can I avoid this again?
Thank yoy

Most colds are viruses. There are several different strains of repository infections and immunity to those infections often doesn't last if I recall correctly. Most of the symptoms you notice come from the middle to the end of the infection when you're getting rid of the virus. There is nothing you can do or take for the virus. The best you can do is keep your hands clean and not touch any mucus membranes with your fingers. No hands in mouth, nose, ears, or other orifices. Though even the most hygienic and cleanest person is going to get sick regardless of circumstances. As well colds seem more common in the winter because we're all inside due to the cold weather outside. Just be careful and clean, the rest is chance.
Good luck.
