I had an ultrasound guided breast biopsy about 36 hours ago. I am very bruised and now I am experiencing a dull pain in my under arm and an occasional sharp pain (maybe 2 in the past hour) from the breast around the side towards the back. Is this normal?

Did you doctors give you a list of common post procedure side effects? I would assume that the bruising is normal, the dull ache and the pain might be normal true, but that sounds like it is more of a nerve issue, as if they clipped the nerve in the biopsy. I couldn't say for sure, I would contact your doctor about this. Should be nothing, but why take that chance?

Very normal. I experienced the same symptoms after my biopsy.
