I have a 5 week old puppy, and it was showing parvo symptoms this morning. It had foul-smelling diarrhea (but no blood), vomit, and lethargy. I force fed her water to keep her hydrated and let her rest. Now, about 12 hours later, she is eating and drinking by herself, and is back to the energetic pup we first had. I've only had her for about 3 days. She's an Australian Shepherd. Is she okay now? I said many prayers, so maybe God just heard me out. :)

There's no way to tell you if she's okay now. She could be, it sounds like she's on the mend, but that's just a guess.

If she is okay now, it wasn't parvo. There are many things that can cause diarrhea, vomiting, and lethargy. A huge list of things actually. Parvo is just one of the illnesses that can cause those symptoms, but I can guarantee that if it was parvo, she wouldn't be okay a day later without treatment.

I'd be more prone to believe it's something you're feeding her. Are you feeding her the same food she was given before you purchased her? If not, you likely changed foods way too quickly for such a young do, especially because she's just new to solid foods at 5 weeks of age.

I do have to ask, how do you have a 5 week old puppy? It's way too young to leave its mother. It should be with its mother until at least 8 weeks of age. It's actually illegal to sell a puppy before 8 weeks of age in most countries.
