Just brought 2nd hand packard bell iextreme 9805 spec is pent4 1800,256mb ram,40 gig hard drive... tryin to put Samsung 200 gig hard drive in it with no success can't even run it alongside the smaller one all that happends is computer keeps restarting after getting the safe mode screen select any one of the options and all you get is a quick flash of blue screen and computer restarts PLEASE HELP

The PC boots up fine with just the 40 Gig?

I assume you have the drives jumpered properly? Master/Slave? Does the BIOS recognize the 200 gig?

An old PC like that may not recognize the full 200 gigs, only 137 gig would be usable.

Does the 200 Gig have a previous Windows install? If it did, are you certain that the PC is not booting from the 200 gig instead?
