I'm 14, and I have the early pregnancy symptoms...
I don't want my parents knowing...
I want to know "Can I use an ovulation test as a pregnancy test?"
The ovulation test is "Answer ovulation test one-step"
And if I can use the ovulation test.. "Do you know how to read if i'm pregnant?"

What happens..
Like can you get pregnant?.
Does it mean you can't get pregnant?
What does a LH Surge do?

No...you need a pregnancy test to see if you're pregnant.

You don't want your parents knowing, huh? What happens if you are pregnant? What then? You think that they may notice that at some point....

So have you missed a period?

You need to test a few weeks after a missed period....with a PREGNANCY TEST.

Until then, think about it...you want to act like an adult, then act like one and be responsible. 14 is way too young to be doing this and it's even more obvious that you're not ready simply based on your questions here.

Don't judge if you don't know how it happened...

Unless you were attacked and raped (in which case your parents need to know), then I agree with odinn. Though at 14 you were raped according to the law in most areas.

But unless this was a forcible attack, then the sex was voluntary and you are too young. If you think the truth will change our judgment, then tell us.

But as odinn said an ovulation test doesn't measure the same things so it can't be used. You didn't answer whether you missed a period or not. The first sing of pregnancy is a missed period. So any symptoms you are feeling are unlikely to be from pregnancy unless you are a couple of weeks late.

A 14 year old should not be having sex.

For pregnancy test, you can not test till you are at least 2 week late on your period. So have you missed a period yet.

But you will need to buy a pregnancy test. Or see if your school nurse gives the test.

AND you need to talk with your parents... its not like you can keep this a secret for long if you are.

And if you think they will be upset if you tell them now... just wait until they find out in a couple months after you thought you could keep hiding it from them. You will see a whole new level of upset from them you never thought was possible.

Your threads have been merged together to keep all information regarding this subject in one place. Please keep all of your questions about pregnancy in this thread. Thank you.

Why do you have an ovulation and not a pregnancy test?

I highly suggest talking to your mother about visiting a gynecologist for a check-up (and if you can be mature enough to admit it to her, pregnancy test and birth control.) Wanting a check-up after you have started your menses is a good reason and you can talk to the doctor about the other issues.
