Does the water line connected to a refrigerator have to be a copper line? no! Refrigerator icemaker lines can be run in either copper or plastic. Good luck, Tom

Like Tom said, it can be copper tubing, plastic tubing or it can even be a special SS braided hose specifically made for ice maker hook ups (sold at all home improvement stores nowadays)... ;)
