I have a 18 kw 240 v Nortron single phase electric forced air furnace with a digital thermostat, it has worked great for years on auto or if we manually turned the tstat up it would turn on till the temp we set was reached. Now it won't come on with auto or fan on settings only if I hit the continuous air switch on the furnace it will come on until temp is reached then stop heat, could it be a sequencer or relay?
Thank you in advance for any reply.

Hi, could you post a picture of this "continuous air switch" that your hitting?

I will take pic and upload if necessary but it is just a fan control switch that has two settings; continuous and auto. The furnace has two other switches; 1 is energy saver (mild and cold) on cold, 2 is summer switch (ventillation and heating) on heating. So I'm using the continuous switch to blow the heat because it won't come on on the auto setting.
Thank you.

So what your hitting to get your fan to run is a the limit switch? As below, I'd say change it out. Good luck

Hello, I have a similar problem where the electric fan will run continuously after the thermostat has been turn down. This is a Nortron 21 FA 25. Would the limit switch be the same problem? Look forward to hearing from you
