Hi,I was told by a urologist a while ago that I have an overactive bladder but due to financial reasons I can no longer see him.I wet the bed about 4 or 5 times a week and go to the toilet often.when I do go I cannot control it as the urge is so strong.what can I do? I live in south Africa and I am female and 20 years old

The only recommendation I can offer is wearing a feminine hygiene product (a pad) to bed.

As well control your water intake. Take in more during the morning afternoon but avoid during the evening. Make sure you completely void your bladder before bed and, as Zamora suggested, use either an adult diaper or a pad to soak up any accidents.
