Good Morning!
We bought a split-level, 1977 house about a year ago and are experiencing our first problem with it... the water pressure seems to be dropping. When we first bought the house, the pressure was strong. I don't know exactly when it happened, it has been getting gradually worse, but the water pressure in the entire house is dropping. We haven't done any repairs or made any changes to the house. The water heater is down stairs, but even the downstairs shower has poor pressure now. The pressure is easily half the strength it was 6 months ago.
I should note that I noticed last summer that IF the outside hose was on, the inside pressure dropped. If I didn't know better, I'd think the outside hose was on right now. :)
Any suggestions on what to look at would be great!
Thanks so much for being here!
