Hope someone can tell me what's going on with this new dishwasher. Just purchased it. Filled it with the needed salt and jetdry, hooked it to the faucet, and tried to turn it on. Pressed the start button on left. All the red lights blinked and the unit beeped but that's all. I noticed the green power light did not light up when the rest did. I tried something that was suggested on another site. I pressed the small button to the right of the control knob to reset the memory but still nothing.

It's a portable Danby (on wheels). Brand new in the box. DDW1899 model. I don't know if it's a switch issue, wiring issue or something else. Seeking advice before I tear the front panel off to investigate.

Any help is welcomed. Thanks

Have you checked the float switch. When they pack it up they put packing material in certain places to keep the parts from moving. You have not removed something or you have low water pressure. The water has to be on and you must have it plugged into a properly grounded receptacle. See: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/8010163/Danby_Use_and_Care_Manual.pdf
