Im 36 weeks pregnant and 1cm dialate but fell at work a few months ago and hurt hip bone I want to induce labor will castor oil be helpful

Babygirl, you don't induce labour without calling your doctor, or alerting the hospital. Does your doctor know about your hip injury ?

There are a tone of ways that you can Google that will "start things off". Trust me that my wife and I were trying ALL of them. They didn't work. Is that a reflection on us or the methods is up to you.

If you're already 1cm dialated then you're already started, but you can be like that for weeks. You're about a week away from 'full term'. If you want to be induced then you'll have to talk to your OB, but I can tell you know that they won't. They usually wait until about a week past your due date before they do that.

I am sorry to say you probably gong to have to wait this out.
