On Oct. 30, I started taking Clindamycin for an abscess. The prescription was for 7 days, but I had such terrible stomach pain that the pharmacist said I should stop when I called on the 6th day. Since then, the pain has come and gone, and for the last 3 days it has been excruciating. It's pretty obvious it's from the antibiotic, but should I go to the ER? I'm a 51 year old female and I also have cardiovascular problems. I'm on Tramadol, Vicodin, Neurontin, Vistaril, and Ibuprofen for pain. Nothing has helped.

If you are in that much discomfort, why are you waiting for strangers to tell you how to proceed ?

I mean to say bullting. Why the HELL are you putting someone down who needs help? That's exactly WHY I asked because I don't know what to do. DO NOT ANSWER SOMEONE if YOU do not know YOURSELF!

Why do you consider I am putting you down. If I were in that much pain, I would be in the ER, no questions asked!
You don't get to dictate who answers here.
We do not diagnose, no one can on the Internet, nor can we tell someone what to do. There is no way we can know your general diagnosis the way your own does.

You are obviously stressed out from being unable to make proper decisions for yourself.
Would you prefer I say, yes go to the ER?
Why would you seek information from the pharmacist and not the doctor who prescribed the antibiotics?
