I have a test on this; I wasn't born back then so I don't know where to start. Any help would be appreciated.

Not really... most people who were adults back then will say he was never the man the myth claims he was...

He died in my lifetime... I was just too young to remember it... and I can say it hasn't effected me personally at all...

It did change how Presidential security details work...

He was assassinated when I was a college freshman. JFK had been the youngest man ever elected to the presidency so he caught the attention of bright-eyed college students who greatly mourned his death. I came from a rural area where the Republican farmers hated him for putting controls on the markets.
